holiday cookie guide 2017
We're not entirely sure how the holidays became synonymous with copious amounts of cookies but we’re here for it. Below we have created a comprehensive guide to our favorite holiday cookies broken down by flavor preferences because we are here for you and your holiday party needs. Before we get into that we’d like to rant a bit….as always. When making this guide we thought of the various ways we could list out our cookie creations by ranking our favorites, dietary restrictions, or difficulty, but all of them seemed a bit complicated, not going with the flow. Taste and preferences came to be because of our own personal tastes! Rose is not a huge chocolate cookie girl, more into the spiced cookies that are easy to make gluten free and/or vegan. While Emily is into chocolate and butter seems to always be in the recipe.
Or goal here is to not overload you with 1 million cookie recipes or another ‘35 of the best cookie recipes for the holidays’, but a guide to please every picky family member, party guest and of course, yourself! Go forth our friends and may the holiday force (of a perfect bake) be with you.
